Yes, Mount Cook is amazing. Are you staying in one of those luxurious chalets, where they bring you cocktails and nibbles to your room and although there are wooden floors, they are partly covered in carpets that you sink in to.? Have you discovered a field full of coloured lupiins, a mass of different colours. I thought they had been horticulturally grown, but apparently they are wild and are not a,lowed to be picked by the public. The mountains are so thick and green, that they look like velvet don’t they. We found NZ very beautiful.
